August is one! Holy crap what a fast year! We had a low key celebration on his actual birthday weekend and then a larger bash the following one. His birthday party theme was Wild One, which included a trail mix bar, sausage logs, flapjacks and a cheesy porcupine complete with pretzel prickles. It felt so good having a bustling house filled with friends and babies helping us celebrate. Auggie had his very own smash cake but seemed only interested in the frosting . . . maybe next year he'll dig in.
