How the fu*k is it already December. This Fall flew by! To get caught up we had a lovely weekend up in Door County and were able to stay in the studio at Bjorklunden. Halloween was a spooktacular affair, with pumpkins, trick or treating and great Aunts?! Pat and Mary Ann were up the weekend of Halloween and we had a great time seeing them, making art, and Auggie had his first sleepover at Nana's house. Elyse and I were meanwhile having a dinner party at our house - so fancy, I know. We had a great little trip down to the suburbs to celebrate Deutsch and Tiff and see friends.
We had out traditional family Christmas decorating day followed by the downtown Christmas market. We saw reindeer, Santa, and went on a carriage ride. A few weeks later was the Christmas parade. It was the first time Auggie sat through an entire parade and was thoroughly entertained, although not as much as Elyse. We then went down to the burbs for Thanksgiving, and the entire family was in town. The big surprise of the weekend was the Birthday party we threw for Karen. I also put together a little birthday video too. The next weekend we were off to the North Pole on the Polar Express! Auggie had a great time riding the train and getting his own bell from Santa.
